Nasim Uddin, PhD President International Medical Devices Society Plenary & Keynote Dr. Nasim Uddin is the president of the International Medical Devices Society (IMD Society) and International Laser Users Council (ILUC). In his current position, Dr. Uddin oversees and directs the corporate affairs of IMD Society and ILUC. Dr. Uddin chairs the planning and technical committees related to the organiziation of management briefings, technical conferences, expositions, engineering and publications sponsored by IMD Society and ILUC. He also edits and publishes several medical devices and technological magazines and journals. Previously, he held several engineering and managment positions in Photon Sources (now GSI Group), General Motors and Thyssen, and was awarded the "General Motors Outstanding Engineer" award in 1987, 1988, and 1989. He has over fifty publications, edited over 60 proceedings and has spoken at various global forums.

| Yunbing Wang, PhD Abbot Vascular Plenary & Keynote Advances in Materials, Applications, & Processing Dr. Yunbing Wang is a Principal Research Scientist at Abbott Vascular working on the bioabsorbable drug eluting stent development. Prior to that, he worked for Medtronic Inc. focusing on artificial pancreas development. He earned his PhD in Polymer Science from Fudan University, Shanghai, China and then worked as a postdoc research fellow at University of Minnesota. Dr. Wang has more than 10 years of experience in the biomaterials and medical devices area and is an inventor of more than 100 patent applications. | 
| Anurag Mairal, PhD Stanford-India Biodesign Plenary & Keynote Global Opportunities & Challenges in Medical Device Development Dr. Anurag Mairal is the Associate Director, Program Development at the Stanford-India Biodesign (SIB) program at Stanford University. In this role, Dr. Mairal is responsible for developing an extensive network of partners from the industry, academia, regulatory bodies, and investors in India and the U.S. to foster the India-focused program. In addition, he serves on the seven-member board responsible for managing a J&J supported fund at SIB. As part of the Global Biodesign team, he serves as the India liaison for the Singapore Biodesign program. |

Mr. KraMer holds an Executive Certificate in the Master of Product Development at Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design at MCAD. He also holds a certificate from Stanford University for the Cardiovascular System in Health and Disease, and participated in the Stanford University Graduate Certificate in Biodesign.

His Trianing includes general cardiology at the University of California at San Francisco and interventonal cardiology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. His current work includes stem cell therapy and novel methods for delivery and a scientist development grant from the American heart association on contrast induced nephropathy.
